NTPC has received the Best Globally Competitive Power Company of India (in overall Power Sector) award at the PRAKASHmay 15th Enertia Awards 2022 held in New Delhi on 22nd December 2022. The award has been conferred on NTPC for having surpassed 70 GW installed capacity that includes 3 GW from Renewable Energy through 36 commissioned projects in various states  with 5 GW RE projects under construction and 7 GW under tendering, the Company is all set to meet the target of 60 GW of RE capacity by 2030-32, thus strengthening India’s Sustainable Development Agenda.

Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC has also felicitated with the Power Sector Leadership award on the occasion. The award marks his contribution to the power sector that includes building a strong RE portfolio for NTPC with a target of 60 GW by 2030-32 and leading the Company as top Global power sector enterprise with over 70 GW of installed capacity.

The prestigious PRAKASHmay 15th Enertia Awards 2022 was organized by Enertia Foundation (Enertia Alliance for Sustainable Energy).
